The driven route covers three days of extensive driving around the heart of Abuja City, covering important places such as Jabi, Maitaima, Wuse, Gwarinpa Estate, and Asokoro etc, we collected data for Five(5) LTE networks. The exercise was carried out on the 14th, 15th and 16th of November, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Below is the report from the drive test.

In the exercise, we compared the network performance of five (5) Mobile Broadband Service Providers: MTN, Globacom, Airtel, 9Mobile and Smile.
The performance of the radio access networks of each service provider along the driven routes in comparison with other service providers is rated, using the following KPI weights: Non-LTE UE Technology, 5%; Connection Drop Rate, 20%; Connection Setup Rate, 30%; Latency(s), 5%; Fraction of bins with DL RLC Layer Throughput less than 500kbps, 20%; and Peak Downlink Throughput 20%.
Our goal is to identify RF deployment issues that have negative impact on the quality of service experienced by the users of the network. A report containing our ranking and detailed RF Analysis is available for a fee.
