Here is the summary of our NIWBQR report, focusing on Victoria Island. The exercise was carried out on the 30th of November 2016, between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

During the exercise, we compared the network performance of five (5) Mobile Broadband Service Providers. Which included: Globacom, MTN, Ntel, Estream and Smile. It is imperative to note that while Ntel, Estream and Smile networks were on LTE 100% of the time, Globacom was on LTE 71.43% of the time while MTN was 12.64% of the time.
The performance of the radio access networks of each service provider along the evaluated routes in comparison with other service providers, is rated, using the following KPI weights: Non-LTE UE Technology, 20%; RRC Connection Drop rate, 20%; RRC Connection Setup Failure Rate, 10%; Downlink Throughput, 10%; Bins with Downlink RLC Layer throughput less than 768Kbps, 25%; and Latency, 15%.
